KVPR: A Steadfast Voice for the Central Valley

For nearly five decades, KVPR 89.3 and 89.1 has been a trusted source of news, culture, and music for the Central Valley. Serving Fresno, Tulare, Kings, Kern, Merced, Madera, and Mariposa counties, the station is a locally based nonprofit and proud member of the NPR network. While it airs many well-known national programs, KVPR is entirely independent, with its staff and volunteer board of directors rooted in the Valley.
