I have been a feminist for as long as I can remember. When pastors at church would talk about a wife obeying her husband or the man being the head of household, I never understood why. What makes a man better than a woman? I never bought into the sexist ideals society pushed. So, it was no surprise to anyone that I would want to participate in the Women’s March in Fresno this year.
As it is almost Christmas time, many video games are being released. The gaming industry loves to take full advantage of the holiday season by releasing many games for people to buy as gifts. Some very popular titles were released this month.
October means Halloween which means a lot of horror games to play. Horror games are not all that are released in October but that is the majority. Let’s players have horror-thons of indie horror games and big release horror games. This October has been a mix of horror and games set in the past, as well as some fun cartoon adventures.
September has been an exciting month for video games. The summer had some great games, but September has got the ball rolling once more. From racing games to space adventures, this month’s video game releases have got it all.
Game releases this month have varied in genre and popularity. From visual novel games to fast paced action games, there has been something for everyone at the end of summer. I continue to play Dream Daddy (which I talked about last month) because of its varying decisions and endings. Because of this I have been too distracted to play any of these August released games myself, but I look forward to starting some soon.
Unfortunately July was a slow month for video games. The summer tends to be slow as developers are busy making games for the holiday season. Summer is a big time for movies but not much for video games.
March has been full of exciting video game announcements that have people buzzing. March is usually a slow time for games as people are just waiting for the big summer releases but this March has been an exception.
February has been a great month for video games--from a new console being announced to new games in famous series being released.
