The Muppets Most Wanted begins where the last movie ended and the Muppets are trying to decide what to do next in their career. However, when they are approached by Agent Dominic Badguy to do a World tour, all but Kermit get excited for the new adventure. Kermit is not so sure they are ready but goes with the majority vote.

Their first shows begin in Germany where Constantine has escaped from Prison and ends up swapping places with Kermit because they look alike except for a black mole. Constantine glues a mole onto Kermit and he ends up being taken back to prison to the Siberian Gulag instead.

Constantine and Dominic work together as thieves with the ultimate goal to steal the crown Jewels in London. Dominic books shows next door to where they want to steal from. Meanwhile in prison, Kermit ends up being asked to direct a show with the other jail mates. It takes a long time before anyone notices that Kermit is in fact Constantine and he goes as far as planning a wedding with Miss Piggy.

I enjoyed Muppets Most Wanted and enjoyed all the cameos by famous people like Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, Hugh Bonneville, and Celine Dion, to name a few. Being a sequel, I wasn’t expecting as much from this second Muppets movie but I enjoyed it as much as the first one. They tie in a lot of the expectations from the past Muppets movies and series such as the old guys in the balcony, and the old Muppets opening. The songs in this movie were really funny, especially the one at the beginning that made fun of sequels. There was also has a short film at the beginning starring Monsters University characters, which was a cute film and an unexpected bonus.

Muppets Most Wanted is definitely a must see during this spring season and will live up to the famous Muppets name. You must watch for all the appearances of all the famous actors/actresses and singers. This is a great movie that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Check out the trailer on their website.
