While all the snow was falling in the East and Midwest, and even in some Southern States, the one thing people on Facebook and DorothyL kept writing was, “It’s a good time to read,” proving there’s nothing like a good book to make you forget excessive snow, icy roads, and freezing temperatures.
I have always enjoyed Marilyn Meredith's Deputy Tempe Crabtree series, so I was happy to hear that there was a new one out.
In River Spirits, the latest book in this delightful series, a movie is being filmed on the Bear Creek Indian Reservation and the crew is creating havoc on the reservation by trespassing on sacred ground and not following the rules established to allow them to film there.
Murder in the Worst Degree is the tenth book in F.M. Meredith's (aka Marilyn Meredith) Rocky Bluff PD series. In this book the Rocky Bluff police department not only has to deal with an elderly man found washed up on the beach, but a serial rapist, drug deals, and auto accidents.
It was a perfectly overcast night for a ghost hunt, and ghost tour guide Lorna Collins was hoping to please her ghost hunters at the Wilkinson House, a long-vacant Bear Creek home built in the 1900s and still up for sale. When I was asked to do a review on Marilyn Meredith’s Dangerous Impulse, I was delighted because her books are always good value! I was not disappointed. This book is terrific!

She also came to my booksigning at my family reunion in Barstow, and we were next to each other at a book fair in San Luis Obispo.
