Upon arriving in New Hampshire, no one was more surprised than Annabelle Amelia Blessingsound Britton to discover that she was a witch. Although she had often experienced a “Vibe” of past emotions when entering a new room, it wasn’t until she met the guardian coven witches of Portsmouth that Annabelle learned of her true heritage. Now that her grandmother is returning for a visit to the home she long ago fled, Annabelle hopes to mend the family feud between Grandma B.B. and Anabelle’s witchcraft mentor, Julia Parris.

Maggie Park is thrilled that she has finally experienced her Witchy Hour and discovered her life’s journey. It means that at the age of twenty-eight, she can finally stop working in her family’s Louisville, Kentucky, diner. It’s not that she doesn’t love her Mother Nature-esque witch mother or her plant-magical Aunt Meme, but Maggie truly wished to find her own goal and path in life. Since that seems to be working with Interpol’s Secret Keepers of the Universal Laws, Maggie has had to keep her realization on the down-low from her very opinionated relatives.

Considering that her familiar is a goblin-gargoyle who transforms into a food-motivated pot-bellied pig, Lily Ivory shouldn’t have been too surprised that his antics would land them in trouble. She never expected that it would arrive in the form of a lawsuit though, one accusing Oscar of head-butting a customer, causing head and neck injuries, and reducing the quality of life.

Are You Rogueing This Year?

by Mallory Moad

‘Rogueing' isn't a dance move, fad diet, or the latest hip exercise program. Simply put, it's attending performances at Fresno's Rogue Performance Festival, commonly known as just “the Rogue.” Although its popularity has continued to increase, there are still people around here who haven't heard of this showcase of independent performance. If you are a member of that group, you've been missing out on one of the most innovative events in Fresno, so keep reading. Keith and I grew up on opposite sides of the country – he in the Los Angeles suburbs, and I in rural Pennsylvania. We didn’t know it at the time, but we shared an obsession: scaring our friends and the other kids in the neighborhood with the most elaborate haunted houses we could create.

A Ghoul’s Guide to Love and Murder By Victoria Laurie: Review/Giveaway/Interview

by Cynthia Chow

The final release of a movie incorporating footage of their Ghoul Getters reality ghost-busting adventures has opened up new pathways for the paranormally gifted stars. While the production crew pay off loans and tour across Europe, M.J. Halliday and Heath Whitefeather were able to sneak off for an elopement and honeymoon. Gilley Gillespie, paranormal tech wiz and M.J.’s BFF, uses his financial bonus to ‘groomzilla’ out on a wedding to his boyfriend Michel. Considering Gil’s normal state of self-involvement and narcissism, perhaps M.J. shouldn’t have been too surprised that he wouldn’t hesitate to loan out an apocalyptically powerful dagger to further fund his ostentatious wedding plans.
