Her business partner, Ruby, will mind the shop as well as her own (New Age) while China visits her mom, Leatha, and stepdad Sam. Stepdaughter Caitie is riding with China, hubby McQuaid is bringing stepson Brian. It sounds like a blended family but with them, it’s seamless.

Erica Sanchez, an English Language Arts teacher at Orange Cove High School has gotten her students very involved in Earth Day this year. "On Friday, April 10, Annie Shelton—Municipal Coordinator—from Waste Management came to talk to my ninth and tenth grade students about the benefits of recycling," shared Erica. "The students enjoyed her enthusiasm and knowledge. It was also helpful for the students to learn from someone other than me. They get to see why I am always nagging them to recycle their bottles, can, and paper in my own classroom."

I also have a lot of messes to clean up, courtesy of my 18-month old lab mix named Trixie. Today’s project: windows! I know, windows are the absolute worst. I am right there with you. But they’re also one of the less subtle areas when they get dirty. Especially sliding glass doors. My grief, but do those things get dirty, dirty, dirty!
