What better way to spend the holidays then with one of my favorite mystery cozy authors Cleo Coyle (which is actually the husband and wife duo of Alice Alfonsi and Marc Cerasini). I absolutely love their Coffeehouse mysteries featuring the manager of the Village Blend in New York, Clare Cosi. One of my favorite places to hang out is a coffee house--so when I heard there was a mystery series set in one, I couldn't resist and they never disappoint.

It dawned on me this week that atmosphere plays a big part in my choice of books. Places I would love to spend time in, described in a way that makes them come to life, really draw me in as much as a great character and story. That's what drew me to Carolyn Hart's Death On Demand series set in a mystery bookstore and that's what draws me in to Cleo Coyle's Coffeehouse Mystery series.
