Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has found a creative way to continue its Aurora Teagarden franchise without its original, iconic star Candace Cameron Buré. The young Aurora, however, is not Buré’s daughter, Natasha, who played the high school version in the flashbacks in Haunted by Murder, but instead Skyler Samuels has been cast as the college graduate.
The newest addition to the Matchmaker Mysteries series of movies is A Fatal Romance starring Danica McKellar as Matchmaker Angie Dove, Victor Webster as Detective Kyle Cooper, and Bruce Boxleitner as Angie's Dad, a retired cop.
Three new Aurora Teagarden Mysteries (A Game Of Cat And Mouse, An Inheritance To Die For, and A Very Foul Play) recently aired on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel Sunday night schedule. Cameron Candace Bure returns as librarian and true crime buff Aurora “Roe” Teagarden and Niall Matter, a Hallmark movie regular, portrays Professor Nick Miller, Aurora's new love interest.
