As a volunteer with Rattie Ratz Rescue I have come across my fair share of unique- looking rats: Russian blue, dumbo blaze, double rex albino, hairless, mink possum and even a tail-less rat! I had certainly heard of and even seen dwarf rats a few times in the past but had never had a chance to really interact with them.
Mae heard the voices, the pleas of “open your eyes,” and words like steering wheel, brain scan, and...coma. She couldn’t see and couldn’t respond, but albeit foggy, she could hear much of what was happening around her. Hank’s loving concern. Dottie’s encouragement. The doctor’s diagnosis. The two strangers’ whispers. Did she hear them correctly...murder? No, couldn’t be.
Vivian Bunn frowned at the boxes and tissue paper strewn across the floor of Lady Barbara Finchley-fforde's sitting room. Decorating Finchley Hall for the holidays used to be more a matter of deciding than actually doing the work. But since Mr. Mugg had...er, resigned, there was no one left to do it. Except Francie Jewell, of course. Francie, Lady Barbara's cook and maid-of-all-work, would tackle anything except ironing. But if Francie were put in charge of Christmas decorations, they'd probably end up with a fake tree in the Great Hall and inflatable snowmen in the courtyard.

Thanksgiving Thursday, eating turkey, watching football, thankful for all of my blessings, many of which I take for granted. Among my greatest blessings, and greatest heartaches, are the immigrants in the refugee camp on the Mexican side of the border at Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Mexico.

One of the major concerns of switching to a raw diet is caused by the myth that a raw dog food or natural diet for dogs can cause them to become aggressive. This stems from the idea that because they are eating raw meat and bones - they gain a bloodlust of sorts and become more aggressive as a result. This is simply not true, however there are a wide range of reasons as to why dogs may act in an aggressive way or exert aggressive behavior generally.
