The pandemic caused many games that gamers all around the world were excited for to be delayed. But despite all that, amazing games were still released last year; some games I consider to be masterpieces. January is my favorite month because it means it is time for me to discuss my top five favorite games of the previous year.
The world is scary right now, and the future is unknown, but there is one thing that you can rely on during a crisis, video games. Despite what is going on, video games are still being released and are a welcome distraction from the chaos.
A decade ending is a historic moment. This decade has seen so many great video games, so today I thought I would share my top five favorite video games from the decade.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have loved it since I can remember. This October did not feature many spooky game releases, but there were still many exciting games released.
September was an exciting month for video games. New gaming platforms were announced and highly-anticipated game sequels were released. Everything ramping towards the big holiday video game releases.
August has been an exciting month for me when it comes to video games. Several games I have been waiting for finally arrived this month. From horror games to story driven choice games, the possibilities are endless when it comes to gaming right now.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but the video game industry is pretty dead right now. After the dust of E3 had settled, the excitement had died down, we are just patiently waiting for those games that were announced to release, which isn’t anytime soon.
May was a very, very slow month for video games. All of the developers are gearing up for E3 in June, so the games just haven’t been coming out.

To this day, Wicked is one of my all-time favorite musicals. I saw it for the first time when I was thirteen, and I have been hooked ever since. The grand music and powerful, emotional storylines and characters grab you instantly. I started bawling the second the first song started, that is how much I love this musical.
