Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have loved it since I can remember. This October did not feature many spooky game releases, but there were still many exciting games released.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint released on October 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game is an open-world online shooter that takes place six years after the previous game. Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Perryman is sent to an island to investigate a series of disturbances. The game has been considered to be a major disappointment by most fans and critics.
Zombieland: Double Tap Road Trip released on October 15 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows the story of the new movie in the form of a top down shooter. It is reminiscent of the style of mobile games with the tiny characters and mechanics. A multiplayer mode with up to four players makes the game an even more fun experience. The reviews have been nothing but positive.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot released on October 25 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Modern Warfare is without a doubt the most popular Call of Duty game so the reboot was highly anticipated. The graphics are majorly improved, and the gameplay is even more fun and complicated than the original.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 releases on October 31 for the Nintendo Switch. The game immediately follows the story of the first two games. Luigi and his friends are invited to a hotel for a vacation which ends up being a trap from King Boo. Luigi is forced to fight ghosts once again to save his friends. Reviews are already in, and it is being called the best game in the series yet!
October is almost over which means the holiday game releases are just around the corner.
