The Von Tresslers were not normal members of the small Pennsylvanian community. With their wealth and attitude, they essentially kept themselves separated from the townspeople shunning invitations to join in, participate, or patronize local businesses along with poaching all the contractors in the area to build their mansion on the hill no matter to what projects they had already committed.

The signs of spring are emerging with flowers blooming, rows of colorful leafy veggies blossoming, and a new member of Washington Acres arriving…a Vietnamese potbellied piglet found in a storage unit who needs to be fostered until its owner is located. Bibi, Megan’s grandmother, is completely taken.

In 2016, Wendy Tyson first published A Muddied Murder, the first book in her Greenhouse Mystery series, introducing Megan Sawyer who started out as a big city lawyer until circumstances made it necessary for Megan to return home and help run Washington Acres, the family’s organic farm, and the farm-to-table cafe.

I am very aware of the countless rave reviews for Wendy Tyson’s Greenhouse Mystery series, and am thrilled to finally join in with others to voice my excitement. Although I started with the third most recent release, the synopses and revisiting of key details in the backstory or character connections made sure I never suffered from a newbie handicap.
