Valley Animal Center: Lulu

Lulu is an eleven-month-old female Hound-Sheppard mix. She came to Valley Animal Center from Fresno Humane Animal Services with her three sisters in October of 2016. Lulu and her littermates were all given “L” names, and “Little Lulu” was named because she was the smallest of the litter.

A little over two years ago, we had a six-month-old puppy come to our shelter from a local animal control facility right before he was scheduled to be euthanized. At the time of his arrival, his health was in horrible condition, and he needed a lot of medical attention before he would ever be able to be adopted out.

Valley Animal Center Takes on a Hoarder House

On the night of March 20, 2015, the Valley Animal Center received word about a hoarder house in Fresno that was filled with abandoned animals. These animals were living in very harsh conditions, and their physical health was in extreme danger. Valley Animal Center worked with two other rescues, Dogma Rescue and No Boundaries Rescue, to remove the animals from the terrible living situation in which we found them.
