Sookie Stackhouse

by Jesus Ibarra

We return to Bon Temps to follow the continuing journey of Sookie Stackhouse our favorite telepathic waitress, well one my favorites anyways, as she deals with all sorts of supernatural problems surrounding her life. This book finds Sookie in danger, as her boyfriend Eric Northman the vampire Viking blows into town with payback on his mind, a shifter is out to get her, and there is more fairy trouble because of something she inherited in the last book.

After an uneven season 4 that left a lot people sort of cold on True Blood, season 5 returns Sunday June 10 with us picking up where we left off last year. I feel that enough time has passed to make me forget some of the worst parts of season 4 and get excited for some of the prospects of season 5.

>I interviewed horror/suspense author Charlaine Harris, well-known author of the popular Sookie Stackhouse novels upon which the HBO TV series True Blood is based, late last year. At that time her book, Grave Secret, from her other series, had just been released.
