Mamma Mia! will be hitting the stage in Clovis this July, presented by StageWorks Fresno. We sat down to chat with StageWorks Artistic Director Joel Abels to learn more about this production.
In the Spring of 2018, the Good Company Players presented Mamma Mia!, the ABBA musical, at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. It was a great show, and it was a big hit. Guess what? They’re at it again! If you missed it before, see it now. If you saw it before, a lot of the stars have returned, and their familiarity with the material makes it even stronger.
This has become my year of changing opinions. I always hated the song “Tomorrow” from Annie because I associated it with small children singing loudly off-key…until I saw the Good Company Players’ production, and now I love it. Now, I have to admit something I never expected to say...Mamma Mia! is a great show!
