Mona Lisa is a two-and-a-half year old white and brown female Siberian Husky mix. She came to us at Valley Animal Center a brand new mom, with her litter of seven puppies who were just four-days old. She was rescued by Fresno Humane Animal Services who called us, so we could provide the extended care needed for her and her pups.

Christmastime is here. A time for shared tales of hope and joy, such as the story of Buddy, the Christmas Husky. On a snowy Christmas Day in 2011, a sick, freezing cold, and starving dog found himself wandering the streets of an Arkansas town and right into traffic. His magnificent breed of Siberian Husky was barely detectable.
