They’ve teased us with their potential. They’ve frustrated us with several last minute losses. But now I can officially say - the 2014 Reedley College football team is one of the most exciting and talented squads I’ve seen in the past twenty years.

I’m not one to complain (don’t ask the editor about that, please), but Reedley College’s football team is getting a bit predictable. For the third straight week, the Tigers fell behind, and then rallied to take a late lead. The difference this last Saturday night was the Tigers snuffed out a late rally by Gavilan and won the game 44-33, to even their season record at 2-2.
One of the fun things about attending a sporting event is not knowing the outcome ahead of time. But Saturday night at Reedley High School Stadium, the fans not only didn’t know the outcome beforehand, they didn’t know the final score on their way out, either, after an inexcusable blunder by the game officials left a black cloud hanging over the entire event.
