Christmas Legends On Stage at the Reedley Opera House

by Terrance McArthur

Looking for that warm, cozy, Christmas-y feeling on a cold, dark night? Head for the historic Redley Opera House and the River City Theatre Company’s Christmas Legends, playing through December 18.
This show is different than earlier Legends shows in Reedley, where performers paid tribute to musical artists by emulating the styles and singing classic hits. This time, you are invited to a slightly rowdy Christmas party where fun is had by almost all, and holiday tunes run rampant . . . with a storyline.

It opened in January of 2018. I took some time to chat with the Café’s owner Jenny Rivera and the timing couldn't have been more perfect as they also offer holiday meals you can take home for the family--all of the great home cooking without any of the work.

Christmas is Always in Season

On the hot days of summer, it’s a treat to cool off with a nice glass of iced tea or an icy cold-brew coffee—just finished one myself, thanks. A good friend watches Christmas movies—nothing like White Christmas or The Polar Express to lower the temperature a few degrees.
