Three new Aurora Teagarden Mysteries (A Game Of Cat And Mouse, An Inheritance To Die For, and A Very Foul Play) recently aired on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel Sunday night schedule. Cameron Candace Bure returns as librarian and true crime buff Aurora “Roe” Teagarden and Niall Matter, a Hallmark movie regular, portrays Professor Nick Miller, Aurora’s new love interest.

Aurora (Roe) Teagarden is married to Robin, guardian to her half-brother Phillip, and three days past her due date for her own baby. You’d think that would be enough to do without getting involved in solving another crime, but you’d be wrong.

Many of us are now following all the wonderful Cozy Mystery book series that the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel has brought to life on the small screen. Currently Hallmark has seven different series in production with at least one more being added in the coming months.

Aurora Teagarden has remarried and is happier than she ever imagined. Crime-writer Robin Crusoe is the lucky groom. His work commute is a matter of feet to the study, hers just to the library in town. Aurora’s half-brother, Phillip, is staying with them for a while after discovering his father in a compromising position and his mother leaving for parts unknown. Aurora and Robin have only been married a few weeks but find having Phillip around isn’t an intrusion.

Meet Aurora Teagarden, librarian and murder mystery fan, played by Candace Cameron Bure in these Hallmark Movies & Mysteries adaptations of the first three books in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries series by Charlaine Harris. Aurora’s mother, Aida, owner of a local real estate agency, is ably played by Marilu Henner.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has done an entertaining adaption of A Bone To Pick: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery by Charlaine Harris. I have not read this series, so had no preconceived notions about the movie. Candace Cameron Bure is Aurora, and Marilu Henner is her mother.
