Joey Rinaldi is a comedian. He has lots of stories to tell, so he puts the titles on a board and lets the audience choose what he should tell next. Some stories are his favorites, some are pretty good, and some are brand new (He’s still working on them).
You know how it is in the restaurant business—things change. One restaurant closes, and another opens in the same place. Somebody takes over a place, and it changes. The Great Food Search visited a couple of places that once were, and are now different.

Fresno Street Eats is an organized group of food trucks that gather at different locations in the Fresno County area (or thereabouts) in various numbers (1-6 or more) at various times (lunch, dinner, etc.). The Great Food Search sampled several trucks and locations in September, but there are many more trucks and gathering points out there, from north of Herndon to south of Jensen, so Here We Go Again with Round Two.
Remember all that wonderful rain we’ve had? You can get a little more of it (metaphorically) at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater in the Good Company Players’ production of Singin’ in the Rain, running through March 12.
For decades, writers have made up tales of William Shakespeare having affairs that inspired his great plays. In 1998, Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard’s script became the film Shakespeare in Love starred Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes, with Geoffrey Rush and Judy Dench. In 2014, Lee Hall adapted the film script for the stage. Now, you can see Shakespeare in Love performed live at the Good Company Players’ 2nd Space Theatre through February 19, and you can fall in love with it, too.
2022—The Great Food Search family (“Dad,” “Mom,” forty-two-year-old “Child”) went through urgent care visits (D, M), dentists (D, M, C), ankle replacement surgery (M), physical therapy (M), five 5K (3.1 mile) walk/run races (D—I walked), and year-ending Covid (D, M, C). Somehow, the three of us are still alive and talking to each other. Still, 2022 was a pretty good year for food in The Great Food Search—twenty-seven different restaurants and eateries.

This show is different than earlier Legends shows in Reedley, where performers paid tribute to musical artists by emulating the styles and singing classic hits. This time, you are invited to a slightly rowdy Christmas party where fun is had by almost all, and holiday tunes run rampant . . . with a storyline.
