As the Halloween season begins, KRL likes to look for fun and unique Halloween events coming up in the area and recently I came across one that involved wild mustangs—the R.I.D.E. by Terrance McArthur

Earlier this year, Lorie Lewis Ham, our editor, wrote about Mike Osegueda, creator of the Taco Truck Throwdown for the Fresno Grizzlies baseball games, and his brainchild, Fresno Street Eats, which brings groups of food trucks and food wagons to Valley malls, breweries, sporting events, churches, festivals, and any place where hungry people gather.

Arsenic and Old Lace: A Deadly Comedy Presented By Reedley’s River City Theatre Company

Reedley’s Native People Being Recognized

by Jim Mulligan

The simultaneous, yet conflicting, demoralization and romanticism of the Native Peoples of the Americas throughout modern American history is a fascinating and sad phenomenon. My kitten count has risen to twenty-eight kittens, one teen and one adult. Plus there are seven more in foster homes.

New, Free, Course Options Abound at Reedley College

by Jim Mulligan

Whether you are a Reedleyite or a resident of one of the surrounding towns, you know how great it is to have a community college right in our backyard. Since 1926 Reedley College has provided higher education for residents of the South Valley and beyond. Like so many of you, Reedley College is an integral part of my family’s educational history. Four generations of Mulligans are alumni; my grandmother in the early ‘40s, my parents, me, and several of my kids, all got our post-secondary start as a Tiger.
