Dead Reckoning brings us back to Bon Temps with our favorite telepathic southern waitress, Sookie Stackhouse. The eleventh installment of The Southern Vampire Series, by Charlaine Harris, shows us it’s better than ever with a more matured, evolved Sookie dealing with the various supernatural mayhem in her life. Once again Sookie finds herself in more danger, but this time around she is able to handle herself better.

The movie I have been waiting for since it was first announced in 2009 has finally hit theaters and it did not disappoint. As a long time comic book fan, particularly of Marvel comics, it is amazing to see all my favorite characters translated from the page to the big screen.

Foster the People: EP Review

Always on the lookout for new music, I stumbled onto Foster the People while listening to radio, which I do from time to time. A perfect example of good alternative rock, Foster the People mix the rock/alt genre with some electronic synths to get an amazing sound reminiscent of the late 90s, which is my favorite decade for its birth of music.

Blackout by Rob Thurman: Book Review

I had the great immense luxury of getting Rob Thurman’s Blackout early to review, meaning I got my fix of Cal and company early. Which was so awesome to say the least. Blackout, the sixth book in the Cal Leandros series, is probably my favorite with my only complaint being that Cal the main character’s powers are reduced. However, this is an awesome book.
