Target Earth: 50s SciFi Movie Review

Welcome to a brand new feature here at Kings River Life! I am a fan of 1950s sci-fi movies. A big fan. I guess it’s a hereditary thing. My late father was a fan of the same movies, so I got an early start. Thanks to DVD, I can now watch almost every sci-fi movie from the fifties, and they’re as much fun now as they were back then -- maybe more so!

The Reedley College Football team’s post-season banquet was held on November 23rd. I wasn’t much looking forward to it, to be honest. I mean, what was there really to celebrate about a team with a 3-7 record, including a season-ending four-game losing streak? Shows you what I know. The banquet was one of the most uplifting and inspiring experiences of my 54 years on this earth, all because of one person: Jesse Lownsbury.

He wasn’t sure what could be done with the information, but he could at least use it to start building some sort of case. I suggested he call Paul Unruh to see if he could help them figure out how they could get a group together to sue the Club leaders for discrimination if nothing else.

No matter what age you are, it is safe to say that you have heard a song written by Taylor Swift. Through the release of her three albums, the world has been part of Taylor Swift’s growing from a timid 16-year-old who wrote about her admiration of Tim McGraw, into a 20-year-old writing songs about battling the challenges most young adults have.

Skyline: Movie Review

If you're looking for an interesting, yet far-fetched movie to watch, Skyline might be the one for you. I've never been one for science fiction, and this movie did nothing to change my feelings about that. However, if you like Sci-Fi this may be for you.
