Happy Feet Two is the sequel to the original Happy Feet movie. It is about the emperor penguins Julia and Mumble who have become a family. Their son Erik is unsure about dancing so he and his friends run away.

When Mumble searches for them he finds another group of penguins and one in particular captures Erik’s interest because Sven the penguin can fly. As they return home, they find that glacier shifts have caused their penguin nation to become trapped. They unite with the other group of penguins and some Elephant Seals that through tap dancing save the trapped penguins. Through this, Erik learns that his father is a true hero and he finds his gift in singing. Happy Feet Two is filled with well- known actors and actresses as the voices such as Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, and Brad Pitt.

I am always amazed by how much animation in movies like these has advanced. Everything looks so real compared to movies from many years ago. The details they add to animation are incredible. It is not a job I would have the patience to do but I am glad there are so many talented animators out there to put together movies like Happy Feet Two for us to enjoy.

The Story teaches that if everyone works together you can solve even the biggest problems. I liked how Mumble and his son Erik were able to get the Elephant Seals involved in saving the penguins. Happy Feet Two is a great family movie filled with lots of music and dance. It makes you want to get up and dance along with them. In fact, my daughter did start tapping her feet as the movie ended. This is a movie you can even take your smallest of children to and they will have a good time.

Happy Feet Two is now playing at Dinuba Platinum Theatres 6. Showtimes can be found on their website.
