October has been a busy and exciting month for video games. From Red Dead Redemption 2 finally releasing after so many years of waiting to a new Call of Duty game which is always a hit in the gaming world.

video gameThe month of excitement for video games starts with Forza Horizon 4, a highly detailed racing video game, which released on October 2. In the game, not only do you get to race on massive tracks but the player sees the pit stops and everything that goes into be a race car driver. The new game was a hit as all of the Forza games are.

video gameAssassin’s Creed Odyssey released on October 4 by Ubisoft. This series has been popular from the beginning so it was only natural that the new game was a hit. The game takes place in Ancient Greece and allows the player to choose between a male or female main character. The world is even bigger than the previous game and has many romance options. Several video game reviewers, including Greg Miller, have praised the game.

video gameCall of Duty: Black Ops 4 released on October 12 by Treyarch. While the story is not very memorable, players are excited about the new battle-royale mode, which has become extremely popular since the game Fortnite landed in the gaming world.

A new trailer for the mysterious game Death Stranding was released this month, leaving gamers even more confused about the story than they were before. Hideo Kojima really does like to leave players wanting more. I still have no idea what this game is about and probably won’t until I play it myself.

Telltale games announced that they will be working with Skybound to complete The Walking Dead game final season. They will be bringing back all of the staff who worked on the game before the studio closer so that fans will get a proper ending to Clementine’s story.

video gameRed Dead Redemption 2 released on October 26 and has received nothing but praise from players and critics alike. The download was 105 GB which made players on the edge of their seats waiting, but according to everyone, it was worth the wait. The world is exponentially larger than the first game, and the story is blowing people’s minds. Horses are treated as more than just a vehicle to explore and instead become actual animal companions. It has been a long time waiting, and it does not disappoint.

It is almost time for the holiday releases, and I can’t wait to see what the gaming world does next.
