If you are looking for something healthy to eat or drink there is a fairly new place in Sanger, California you should check out. It’s called Healthy Blendz. They opened their doors on January 3, 2022. They were mentioned earlier this year in one of our Great Food Search columns and I decided to chat with owners Salvador and Diana Colin to learn more. By the way, they have a special Halloween menu!
KRL: What is Healthy Blendz?
Salvador & Diana: Healthy Blendz is a healthy café.

KRL: What inspired you to open this type of place?
Salvador & Diana: Our inspiration is to offer a healthy option/alternative to our Sanger and surrounding communities.
KRL: Why did you choose to open in Sanger?
Salvador & Diana: We chose Sanger because this is where we grew up and graduated from high school.
KRL: Why did you choose the name Healthy Blendz?
Salvador & Diana: We chose the name Healthy Blendz because it describes perfectly what we’re all about. Everything on our menu is low sugar, low calorie yet high in important nutrients the human body needs on a daily basis.
KRL: What makes your cafe unique?
Salvador & Diana: what makes us unique is how we make our customers feel from the moment they walk through our door. The products we make are consistently good and the positive vibes we radiate to our clients makes their day that much better.
KRL: What is your favorite thing on the menu?
Salvador & Diana: My (Salvador) favorite item on our menu is our Chocolate Covered Strawberries Protein Bowl. Diana’s favorite is the waffles.
KRL: Yum! Does your menu change often?
Salvador & Diana: We have 4 seasonal menus with a few items that are always available all year round.
KRL: Are you doing any special drinks or items for Halloween month?
Salvador & Diana: We do have a special Halloween Menu with fun spooky drinks.
KRL: Where can people find you online?
They also sponsor a non profit program called CAL STATE PREP ACADEMY based in Visalia
KRL: Can customers order online?
Salvador & Diana: Online ordering is available through our app called ENGAGE. We also received orders directly to our business phone line.
KRL: What are your future goals?
Salvador & Diana: Future goals include working directly with SUSD (Sanger Unified School District) child nutrition to offer our students a healthy option during school. We also plan on expanding to our neighboring communities very soon.
KRL: Is there anything you would like to add?
Salvador & Diana: Who we are and what we do is deeply rooted in the belief that we can and we are making a difference with our communities through nutrition and healthy active living as well as educating everyone on the importance of healthy eating habits.
