The Bully BOO! Walk, Fresno Bully Rescues’ largest fundraiser of the year, is coming up this Sunday, October 20, at Woodward Park, Fresno, California!

This family-friendly event started back in 2010. The idea initially came from a creative group of Fresno State students who wanted to help us come up with a fundraiser. Initially, the 2010 Bully Walk was a simple public “pack walk” set through Woodward Park. The idea behind this large pack walk that included all breeds of dogs, including “Pit Bulls”, was to show unity and how to community could come together in a positive way to spread awareness.

Past Bully Boo Walk

After the success of the first walk, we decided this event needed to become Bi-annual or at least an annual ordeal! Every year this event continues to grow. Now we can usually expect over 800 participants to join in the fun. It has been amazing to see our supporters, old and new, come back each year to march along with us in one of the largest annual pack walks in the Central Valley!

Our favorite time to host the Bully Walk is during October. This allows us the opportunity to have a four-legged Halloween Costume Contest which is truly a sight to see! In addition, this event hosts dozens of vendors booths to visit, both pet related and not. It truly makes for a fun morning out with your pup!

This year Special Guest Judge, Shorty Rossi, from Animal Planets “Pit Boss” will be joining us! Be sure to bring your “A” game for the Costume Contest!

Registration per human is $15, which includes an event T-shirt, Raffle entry, and goodie bag. Shirt pick up starts at 8 a.m., and the event kicks off at 9 a.m.!

  1. This is a wonderful event. I couldn’t make it this year but I have gone in the past. So happy to see this fundraiser promoted.
