My name is Bill Nicolay and I am no different from a lot you reading this column. I live from paycheck to paycheck and I have to consider every dollar spent to assure that I am getting the “Best Bang for My Buck”. I like the finer things in life, but, with a limited income, I have to plan carefully how I am going to acquire what I need and save for what I want.
I have lived on this planet for almost 60 years now, and I have learned this: nothing is really free except salvation, things worth having are worth waiting for, and you get what you pay for. If you didn’t pay much for an item, there is usually a good reason why. Either it won’t last or you will not get the most pleasure from the experience.
Well, I’ve got great news for you. If you are into leisure sports, in particular, golf, then read on. For the past two years, I have been an employee at Ridge Creek Golf Course in Dinuba. I have worked there since they opened in July of 2008. We are a family that is dedicated to meeting the needs of our clients and assuring that their time spent with us is a memorable experience. Designed by John Fought, this course offers a welcoming staff right from your arrival. The manicured fairways, white sand bunkers, challenging greens, and native wildlife make for a truly pleasurable day. There is a Game Improvement Area to work on your short game, a state of the art driving range, and two practice putting greens.
