This has been such a slow month for video games. Everyone is preparing for the holiday releases and so not much is going on.

Fans had been waiting for months to know more about this long anticipated sequel. The footage showed off Rockstar games promising that this would be a much more immersive game than the previous. New features in the series include being able to choose the way you talk to/interact with characters, more realistic weapons, and more. Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on October 26, 2018.

video fameThe weird and creepy game, We Happy Few, released on August 10. The game takes place in a universe where the U.S. did not join the allies in World War II, leaving Britain to fight it on their own. Britain left the war feeling guilty and horrible about things they did to Germany. To rid themselves of this guilt and unhappiness, they take pills every day called “Joy.” Unfortunately, this game has received very low reviews as people say that the game has many glitches and the quests are boring.

The Walking Dead Game: Final Season episode 1 released on August 14. I spent so long waiting to continue Clementine’s story. I literally counted the minutes until it was released. I had work the next morning, but I still stayed up and played some of it. I was not disappointed. Some people have claimed that the episode was too slow, but I actually really enjoyed it. When the main character is put into a new environment with new characters, it is going to focus on conversation and getting to know the new people and place. The episode ending was so intense and crazy. I cannot wait for the next one. I am not ready to say goodbye to this series, but I am excited to see how it ends. video game
