Steve Levitan would be the first to declare that his Golden Retriever Rochester was responsible for turning around his human’s life. After two miscarriages led to now ex-wife’s compulsive shopping habit, Steve wielded his considerable computer skills to hack into three credit bureaus and block her ability to spend. Unfortunately, that also led to his being caught and imprisoned for a year, forcing him to rebuild his life into an administrator at Eastern College.
Another year has ended and once again we take a look back at a few of the many books reviewed in KRL in 2019. All but one of our main reviewers share in this post their top 5-10ish favorite books they reviewed in 2019. Katherine Costa wanted to include favorite authors and TV shows that she has reviewed, so hers went up in a separate post in this issue.

Steve Levitan and his golden retriever, Rochester, are attending the blessing of the animals at their synagogue when a disruption occurs with the unexpected arrival of Rabbi Goldberg's brother, Joel. After sending Joel to his study the rabbi apologizes to the Temple Elders for his brother's behavior and explains that Joel suffers from schizophrenia.
