Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat hits the stage at Reedley High School this weekend. Joseph is a musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who also wrote The Phantom of the Opera. The story is based on the Biblical story of Joseph and the beautiful coat that his father made for him, making his many brothers very angry. This is considered a very family friendly show, with universal themes and catchy music.
At Immanuel High School in Reedley, “the play’s the thing,” as William Shakespeare said. Students are dedicated to making the drama and musical shows the best possible experience for families and the community. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat comes to the Immanuel stage and is a musical that will keep children engaged, but will also give new insight on the story of Joseph from the Bible.
