Whether or not you saw the movie The Graduate in the 1960s, whether or not you liked the movie, you will enjoy the stage version presented by the Visalia Players. The issues of what now?, broken dreams, and loneliness are just as prevalent and relevant today as they were 50 years ago.
This weekend my daughter and I saw The Graduate at the Temple Theatre in Hanford. This was our first Kings Players production, but definitely won’t be our last. It was well done and the theatre itself is quite charming.
The San Joaquin Valley is as rich with quality theatre as it is with agriculture, from Hanford to Fresno and beyond. While Fresno is filled with many different theatre companies, and Visalia has a handful as well, many smaller cities like Reedley also have their own community theatre companies. One of the longer standing local theatre companies is The Kings Players, Inc. in Hanford.
