Ves Roundtree has money, lots of it. She inherited from her brother who recently passed away. The will states she has use of the money for her lifetime, and then it passes to six other people. Of those six, it’s pretty much unanimous that they should get the money now.

I have been a fan of Carolyn Hart's Death On Demand mysteries since the beginning, and was excited to read the new one, Death At The Door. And it didn't disappoint!
I didn't get into mysteries until my late teens through Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie. In my early 20s, I was ready to check out some more current authors and went on a search.
