Regulars at the Ice House will recall our box office smash opener for the 2015-16 season Broads of Broadway, also directed by Mitchell.

Kinky Boots: Tony Nominated Show Review

I feel like I was just hit in the face with glitter and feelings.
That's literally what I said as I left the theater.
I went into Kinky Boots not really knowing what to expect. I'd read a very minor plot synopsis, but decided to just experience the show completely raw, with no research or “online previews,” (since it's so rare anymore that I get to do that). I am SO glad I did. This show is electric.

Jekyll & Hyde Revival: Theatre Review

Theater has always been my passion. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t love musicals. I love comedies, dramas, dramedies; you name it, I love it. But this past weekend I saw a musical like no other. That musical was Jekyll & Hyde at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. Now, Jekyll & Hyde has been a musical since the 90s but the one I saw was a new revival. I love the original version but in my opinion, the revival is even better.

Avenue Q: On Stage In Visalia

My daughter and I went to see Avenue Q this weekend and since she knows the show so well I thought it would be great to let her share her feelings before throwing in a few of my own. We’ve had the great pleasure of seeing three Tony Award winning shows in a row now—this one being the latest—and I have to say each made me even prouder of the incredibly talented theatre community here in this Valley!
