Joseph is a Domestic Short Hair cat who has been at Valley Animal Center since February of this year. Joseph is approximately seven years old and resides in the Cat Adoption Center, napping the days away. Joseph hopes to find his forever home soon, so he can nap in the comfort of a warm home.

Joseph

Joseph came to Valley Animal Center under unfortunate circumstances. A Good Samaritan brought Joseph to our facility after finding him on the side of a highway, suffering terrible injuries. Joseph had been thrown from a moving vehicle causing injury to his paw pads and his chin. The staff at the Cat Adoption Center immediately took him in and began the healing process. After a long couple of weeks of constantly changing bandages and providing the love Joseph needed to heal, he was fully recovered! He began his wait, each day hoping he’ll find his forever home.

animal rescueJoseph can be very shy; he is not quite used to the abundance of people going in and out of the cat room. He may be spotted in the corner of the room, napping by himself. Joseph is looking for a home that can offer him patience and kindness. Though it will take a little while, once he opens up, he will give you lots of love and cuddles.

If Joseph sounds like a match for you, please stop by our Cat Adoption Center, open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Joseph is available for adoption for just $90; like all of our adoptable animals, he is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. For more information on Joseph, or any of our adoptable animals, please visit our website at valleyanimal.org, or call (559) 233-8690.

Check out more animal rescue stories in our Pet Perspective section & watch for more stories from Feral Paws every other month, and we would love to have you join our KRL Pets Facebook group. Advertise in KRL and 10% of your advertising fees can go to Valley Animal Center.

We also have a new pets newsletter that will be going out every month or two, letting our readers know about all of the pet and animal rescue related articles that went up over that time, so you never miss a thing. This is still a work in progress so I hope you will be patient with us-we are still sorting out exactly what this will all be, and how often it will go out. We also hope to provide some additional content and maybe even some pet related giveaways. You can use this box to subscribe!
