Looking for a Spooktacular way to celebrate Halloween with the kids? Look no further than this year’s 4th Annual Boofest. This lively, fun-filled Halloween tradition will be held on Friday, October 26, from 6-9 p.m. in Clovis, at the Sierra Vista Mall, located at Clovis and Shaw Avenues.
Sponsored by a unique partnership between the Clovis Police Department and Sierra Vista Mall, this indoor-mall-wide trick-or-treat event will feature an array of Halloween-themed activities for all ages.
Once inside Center Court at the mall, attendees will be treated to carnival games, trick or treat fun, creepy crawlers, reptiles, face painting, bounce houses, displays of emergency vehicles, arts and crafts and so much more!
Be sure and dress the kids in their best costumes as the evening also features a Costume Contest, beginning at 7:00 p.m. sharp. The contest is free for ages 0-16, and contestants are certain to delight the audience with their creative and clever costumes. Contest pre-registration is required. The deadline to enter is October 24th. Registration forms are available online at www.sierravistamall.com, or check out Sierra Vista Mall on Facebook. Shoppers can also stop by the Customer Service Booth located inside Sierra Vista to fill out their registration forms.
Elizabeth Marquez of Clovis is looking forward to having her children join in the Halloween fun. She said, “We’ve been looking for a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween and this sounds like so much fun. This will be our first time attending the BooFest and we’re already looking forward to participating. The kids have been planning their costumes for a month and they are really excited about the contest. It sounds like BooFest will offer us a lot of different opportunities for all of us to have some Halloween fun!”
