I’ve been a fan of Bonnie Hearn Hill since her first book. She has always been able to capture a reader’s imagination no matter what genre she might be writing.
Gemini Night is a young adult book. In this, the third book of the Star Crossed series, Logan McRae, is a junior at Terra Bella Beach High. A talented writer, Logan is thrilled to be working as an intern for a popular teen magazine housed in San Francisco. Though this is a wonderful opportunity for the teen, nothing is moving smoothly from relationships with Logan’s classmates, her schoolwork, her parents’ divorce, and most traumatic of all, the fact that her boyfriend, Jeremy, may have fallen out of love with her. A talented astrologist, Logan relies on the stars to help her figure out what she ought to do.
The author has done a great job of capturing teenage angst as she tells the story from Logan’s point-of-view. Gemini Night is a fascinating read with intriguing characters and plenty of twists and turns to keep any reader turning pages.
