Raj Bisla, Manager at The Standard, explained about all the preparations that go into making this the best Halloween party in the entire region. He said, “This isn’t just a regular party! We open up a lot of space out front and actually move the entrance so we have even more room for our Halloween party-goers. This becomes a huge indoor/outdoor party. We decorate the entire place from top to bottom… and I mean the entire place!” Party-goers will be captivated by the decorations, music, drinks, food, and fun for costumed guests. It has all the ingredients for making this 10th Annual Halloween Party a Halloween to remember!standard

The crowd continues to grow at this popular event. In past years, party-goers have numbered anywhere between 900 to 1,200. Guests are encouraged to wear their most creative costumes for the Costume Contest, which is a big part of the festivities. This year, there are two categories for the Costume Contest: Best Overall, and Scariest Overall. Cash prizes are awarded, so guests are urged to do their creative best if they want to compete for those prizes.

The event runs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., with two DJs and tons of music that will run all night and into the morning. This year, The Standard has brought in KSKS Country 93.7 and Y101 for music that everyone loves. A special brew of Halloween cocktails, and a Halloween menu will be available for the 28th.
