Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Superhero films are always a great adventure. The action, fighting sequences, the superpowers! Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is an animated superhero film that follows an African American teenager named Miles Morales, who is bitten by the radioactive spider and given superhuman powers. The film is directed by Kemp Powers and other genius directors so that we can expect an exciting adventure! The animation looks fantastic, even from just a short trailer. Fans can’t wait to see this film when it finally comes out. It is set to be released on October 7, 2022. (this movie has been moved to June 2, 2023)

Operation Fortune

The film Operation Fortune features Hollywood Star Jason Statham as an undercover operative recruited to help save the world from the sale of deadly weapons. The film is a race against time, as the terrorists will sell their guns if they are not stopped. The film has a trailer available to watch, and the plot certainly looks interesting. Expect action, adventure, and explosions! It is about to be released sometime this year.

Morbius

We haven’t had a good vampire film since Blade in 1998. Well, we can expect an action-packed adventure with this one. Morbius is based on the Marvel comics of the same name. The main character is a doctor who attempts to cure himself of a rare blood disease but becomes afflicted by a bloodthirsty alter ego set on high-stakes destruction. The film is from the same studio as Spider-Man comics, so that’s something to look forward to! It is set for release in April 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor, the God of Thunder, will finally be getting a female counterpart in the film Love and Thunder. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. There’s no news yet on whether we can expect a romance between those two, but this one will be exciting. It is about to release in July 2022.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

The original Sonic the Hedgehog was a great hit, and we can expect an even better sequel with this one. In this film, we see Sonic as the king of Mobius – where he must stop an evil force named Dr. Robotnik. The plot certainly looks exciting, and we can’t wait to see it when released! It is set for release by end of this year. The film stars James Marsden as Hedgehog and Tika Sumpter as his love interest.

Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick is a Paramount Pictures film based on the 1986 hit film of the same name. The film stars Tom Cruise as Lieutenant Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, a hotshot pilot chosen to be one of the Top Gun pilots. The film also stars Jon Hamm, Val Kilmer, and Ed Harris. The plot is about the young pilots as they train for their final test. It’s set to be released in May 2022.

Blade

Blade, starring Mahershala Ali, is one of the upcoming movies and is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Mahershala plays Blade, and as a half-human half-vampire, he must take down any threat that comes his way. The film is ready to be released later next year.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is an action-packed film based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. The film is set to honor the actor who played the first Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the role of T’Challa. It stars Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o and Daniel Kaluuya among others. It is slated for a release in November 2022.

The Man from Toronto

This is an American action comedy film starring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson. The Man from Toronto follows an assassin and a regular guy mistaken for each other in an Airbnb rental. The film is all ready to be released in August 2022.
