Foothills covered with vivid orange, yellow, and purple wildflowers, ribbons of color on the freeways, blossoms that blanket row after row of orchards, and grape vines meticulously tied as they await the Valley sunshine.

30th Annual Blossom Festival In Sanger

The Blossom Trail just had its kick off event in Sanger this past weekend. It is hard to believe that it is that time of year again but blossoms are popping up all over Fresno County. There are many more events planned, but one of the big ones is the Annual Blossom Festival held in Sanger, which will be taking place on March 3. We took a moment to chat with President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sanger District Chamber of Commerce, Tammy Wolfe, about the festival itself and this year's festivities.

Spring has nearly sprung and with the coming of spring comes the panoramic beauty known throughout the region and beyond as The Fresno County Blossom Trail. Originally created twenty-nine years ago to celebrate the splendor of the sights and scents of the showy blossoms of the Valley’s almond, plum, nectarine, peach, apricot, apple, and citrus blooms; these trees provide nature’s beauty at its finest. Add to that, the magnificence of the snow-capped Sierras for the backdrop, and you will have a sensory experience of beauty unlike any other.

25th Annual Fresno County Blossom Trail Opening Ceremony

More than 90 people from the Sanger, Reedley, Orange Cove, Kingsburg, Selma, Fowler, Fresno, and surrounding areas, attended the 25th Annual Fresno County Blossom Trail Opening Ceremony recently. This year the ceremony was held in Sanger and hosted by the Sanger Chamber of Commerce and City of Sanger, in cooperation with the Fresno County Blossom Trail Committee.
