It’s wedding time for Vicki and Mason. Everything’s going smoothly until Vicki’s parents arrive. They brought along extra guests and a wedding planner who is supposedly famous but probably only in her own mind. Vicki’s mom wants to change the flowers, the food, the dresses, while her dad wants a bigger, better venue. Cathy Carr, wedding planner, wants high-octane coffees and chocolate-covered espresso beans. To say she’s wired is a major understatement.
Krissy is Vicki’s business partner in their coffee shop/book store. Her dad arrives with his new girlfriend who seems to be really nice. Krissy takes the surprise in stride better than most. After all, girlfriend is much easier to deal with than Vicki’s parents.
When a dead body shows up, Krissy is a suspect, having discovered the body and handled the blunt object of death. Mason also shows up on police radar which puts the wedding into jeopardy, much to the delight of his dad and the woman he’s dating. It seems they have an alternate plan for Mason’s life. With all the angst the parents are causing, it’s a wonder there’s only one body. Will they make it down the aisle?
There’s added drama from Rita, Krissy’s dad’s biggest fan. He’s a mystery writer. Rita had her heart set on him for her own, so the girlfriend threw a wrench into that plan. Luckily, Rita is a huge gossip and easily distracted by an assignment to find clues to the death.
This is the sixth book in the series. There are changes in Krissy’s love life as well. Readers will be anxious for book seven when Vicki and Mason return from their honeymoon.

Death by Expresso sounds like something borrowed, something blue, and a whole lot of crazies, too! (My kind of book.) I’d love to win a copy.
