Helping homeless animals is a cause close to the hearts of many. And, reading great books is a great way to relax.

With that in mind, a group of fourteen USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and award winning authors have joined together to create a box set of mystery books with preorder funds going to support three rescue groups. Streetdog Foundation, Northshore Animal Shelter, and Home “Fur” Good.

The participating authors are: Judith Lucci, Anna Celeste Burke, Colleen Mooney, Fiona Quinn, Maria Grazia Swan, Kelly Hashway, Kim Hunt Harris, Susan Boles, Lisa B. Thomas, Emily Selby, Joanna Campbell Slan, Ava Mallory, Sam Cheever, and Chelsea Thomas.

All fourteen authors are pet lovers, and many of them are active in rescue groups in their respective hometowns with three of the authors active in the rescue groups chosen as this year’s recipients of funds.

The title of the box set is Summer Snoops Unleashed and contains fourteen never before published mystery stories for only 99 cents.

The authors have created a website where readers can go to peruse information about the box set, about the three rescue groups chosen to receive funds, about the authors themselves, and about the stories the authors are writing for the box set.

The set is currently available on Nook, Kobo, and Apple and will be available for preorder on Amazon in late April.

As the mom of a senior rescue dog who has brought sunshine to my life every day since she came home with me, I am excited to be one of the authors in this set and to be the one who suggested my hometown rescue group, Streetdog Foundation.
