The Walking Dead

Unfortunately July was a slow month for video games. The summer tends to be slow as developers are busy making games for the holiday season. Summer is a big time for movies but not much for video games.

I used to be terrified of zombies. If anything zombie-related came on to the screen I couldn’t look. But then I was on YouTube and saw that someone was playing a game called The Walking Dead. I was curious, so I clicked and I’ve been hooked ever since. I realized zombies weren’t scary. There was no reason to be scared of them, ‘cause a zombie apocalypse would never happen. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with zombie-related things and The Walking Dead game is at the top of my list.

This and the theme of what surviving in this world does to people and their humanity are the three long running themes of the series.

It’s the end of the year, and you know what that means: lists! Here is a list of my personal top ten for the best TV shows of the year. And man it was so hard to choose just ten; this was such a great, no fantastic, year for TV, probably the best in the last couple of years. So let’s get started from 10 to 1.
