If you are a fan of old musicals from the 1920s and 1930s then you won’t want to miss the Reedley River City Theatre Company’s production of The Drowsy Chaperone! While the Drowsy Chaperone actually debuted in 1998 as a parody of the old musical comedies, it brings back memories of those fun musicals I used to watch on Channel 26 when I was a kid.

This past year I had the pleasure of seeing Emily Pessano on stage, first in The Drowsy Chaperone and then again in Legally Blonde, both at Roger Rocka’s in Fresno. As soon as I saw her on stage, I knew I had to add her to my list of local actor profiles—she just blew me away with an incredible voice, great dancing, and acting. She simply glows on stage!
