Siobhan O’Sullivan lives in Kilbane, a small town in County Cork, Ireland. Her family runs Naomi’s Bistro while she patrols as the newest member of the Garda (police). Her boss, friend, and lover is Macdara. They have their hands full when the International Poker Tournament is held in a local pub at the same time as the Arts and Music Festival happens on the main street.

Siobhan O’Sullivan has helped a bit with past murders in the village of Kilbane, in County Cork and that gave her the idea of becoming a Garda (police officer) herself. Now she’s graduated after two years of study. Her friend, and almost more, Macdara Flannery has moved to Dublin although he still has jurisdiction over Kilbane when needed.

In honor of my Irish heritage, the Italian side of my family celebrated St. Patrick’s Day for my father. Every, and I mean every, St. Paddy’s Day we had corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes and Potato Seedy Cake.
