I thought hard for several days as to what to write about this week without being political. Politics consumed the American public for much too long during this election cycle, and it seemed it would never end. It still seems to be the focus of the media no matter who you watch.
Everything is pretty low-key at Family Healing Center. That is by design. Even the name is designed to protect the dignity and privacy of a specialized group of clients. People come to Family Healing center because more than their bodies need healing–they have been hurt at much deeper levels. In most cases, they have been wounded by someone they loved or trusted; they have been violated and they have been betrayed.
There are no wrong doors at New Path Center in Kingsburg. That is the policy that Tony Redfern lives by and that the agency he dreamed into existence espouses.
