The Reedley College Tigers open the 2013 football season with a home game against College of the Sequoias on September 7th, at 7 p.m.. The Tigers return several experienced players from last year’s squad and there are also some key new additions. Randy Whited enters his fifth season as Tiger head coach, and this could very well be the best team he’s had. I had the chance to ask him a few questions about the 2013 season.
The Reedley College Tigers lost their Valley Conference opener Saturday afternoon in Rocklin, falling to the Sierra College Wolverines 42-13. With the loss, the Tigers were all but eliminated from post season bowl eligibility.
What a difference a week makes! A week ago, the Reedley College Tigers were reeling after being crushed by San Mateo 48-14 for their second straight defeat to open the season. But the Tigers got a lot of things straightened out in the ensuing week, and clobbered the Cabrillo College Seahawks 58-7 Saturday night at Reedley High school Stadium.
