Through the years, Valley Animal Center has had the pleasure of changing the lives of dogs and cats that have come into their care. The services they offer their adoptables help many abandoned pets find their furever homes.
Kimmie was found as a stray in New York City, but it was clearly obvious she had been someone’s well-loved baby. The busy, noisy city shelter was no place for sweet little Kimmie, and fortunately Col. Potter Cairn Rescue stepped up to give her a chance at a forever home.
When Valley Animal Center first rescued Bowser from a local animal control facility, the ten-month-old Pomeranian mix had a severe eye infection, and an ulcer that had Valley Animal Center’s staff worried. While we are not aware of how the infection and ulcer formed, as it was prior to his arrival, we suspect that it was due to an infected cut on the cornea that worsened as he scratched at it.
