It’s Halloween in Arborville, and no one is recognizable except Pamela Patterson. She’s wearing basic black slacks and sweater, with only cat ears to define her costume. She’s definitely underdressed in a crowd of mermaids, Greek goddesses, Raggedy Ann and Andy, and the usual wizards and zombies.
Covid-19 is scary enough and has us all wearing masks. Grab some candy, a pumpkin spice latte, and settle down with these Halloween reads. Many came out earlier, but I saved them for you as a treat!
It may be springtime in Arborville, New Jersey, but the trees are wearing sweaters. It’s not the usual yarn bombing but an environmental statement. It seems the sweaters are covering spray painted red Xs on the trees—identifying them as candidates to be cut down for interfering with overhead electrical wires. Blame goes to the new mayor who vowed to make changes.
