An Ideal Husband opened at Good Company Players 2nd Space Theatre in Fresno on April 21. This play was written by Oscar Wilde, of whom I am a huge fan, so I've been waiting anxiously to see this show ever since I saw it listed on GCP's 2nd Space season.
I have been a fan of Oscar Wilde ever since I saw The Importance of Being Earnest, so when I heard that the Curtain 5 Theatre Group was doing a play based on Wilde's novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, I was very excited.
2013 has been another interesting year of theatre in the Valley. While there weren't as many new and edgy shows, there were a lot of really good ones.

When I heard that 2nd Space was doing The Importance Of Being Earnest, a play by Oscar Wilde, I couldn't wait to see it!
Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, presented by The New Ensemble, opened this past weekend at the Broken Leg Stage in the Tower. I never know what I'm going to get when I see a TNE show as they tend to do more out of the box kind of shows that I've never seen before. What I always know is that it will be interesting, thought provoking, and well done.
